Thus we do not see anything wrong with the statement. It is similar to saying have a good day. We must add that if such words take away a Sunnah then they are a bidah. For example if one says Good Day, Jumua Mubarak, Eid Mubarak, or the like before giving salaam, then it is a bidah It is a Sunnah to give salaam before kalaam (i.e. to speak).
