JOB OPPORTUNITY Fun and Fast Growing Company Seeks Marketing Manager/Web Designer Our fast-growing e-commerce company has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, talented Marketing Manager with a heavy background in web design who can help us obtain the next level of success. Collaborating with the overall management team, this position will help concept and drive marketing objectives and execute through promotional web materials such as graphic ad banners, newsletters, social media enhancements, etc. This person will also work on various projects to improve the websites overall look and feel along with collateral as needed. The ideal candidate understands the target market, best practices for ecommerce (conversion rates) and can implement or obtain resources to secure success of projects. Compensation – DOE (range is $50,000-$72,000+ year) Desired Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and/or graphic design or related field required. • 5+ years of marketing and graphic web design experience. • HTML, CSS, and XML. • Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other design principles. • A portfolio demonstrating designs or past marketing projects/successes. • Proficiency with design software such as Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator. • Familiarity with social media interfaces: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. • Understanding of SEO best-practices. Additional Qualifications: • JavaScript and jQuery knowledge. Knowledge of Magento a plus. • Familiarity with graphic design for mobile platforms. • Familiarity with animated video creation and video editing. • Willingness to participate where needed. • Must be detail-oriented and with good time management skills.
