JOB POSTING: PLEASE SHARE, thank you in advance Mortgage Administration / Marketing Assistant Status/Start Date: Full Time / Feb 9th (earliest) Location: Surrey, BC (Benchmark Business Centre - 152 St / Hwy 10) Compensation: Salary TBD by experience Peet and Cowan Financial Services is a mortgage brokerage engaged in Real Estate financing. Our growing Surrey office is looking for an experienced full time Administration / Marketing Assistant who will be working directly with our head Mortgage Advisor. This is a growing team so the ability to self-manage and take ownership of the office is essential. Previous experience in the area of Administration and Marketing is vital. This position will reflect someone who relishes a fast paced professional environment, responsibility, variety, organization, and effectively going above and beyond to make sure everything is completed to the highest standard. Demonstrating willingness and flexibility as a professional with a go-getter attitude is key for an individual considering to advance their career in Real Estate / Financing. Job Description / Duties: • Receptionist o Premises management o Greeting foot traffic o Inbound and outbound calls o Booking Travel and Meeting arrangements o Sending / Responding general emails to all parties involved in the mortgage transaction: • Clients • COI’s (referral sources) • Lenders (bank contacts) • Lawyers • Realtors • Appraisers • Marketing: o Social media o Mail outs o Web maintenance o Email marketing o CRM management o Design • Administration: o Filing o Labeling o Faxing / Scanning o Preparing compliance docs o Data bass entry / Management Qualifications • Minimum of two years’ experience in a general administrative support position, ideally within the Real Estate and/or Banking / Finance field (but not required) • Post-secondary and/or training in office administration • Strong written/oral skills in English. Punjabi language skills are a definite asset • Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, Apple/MAC • Typing: > 60 wpm • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, organizational, time management and interpersonal communication skills. • Capable of multitasking and to interact both verbally and in writing with a diverse group of people; ability to draft correspondence, reports and records • Credit Check Required – minor blemishes is not a deterrent • Criminal Record Check Required • Drivers license Personal Traits: • Confident • Motivated • Quick Learner • Leader • Outgoing • Strong Communication • Positive Attitude • Ambitious • Great listener Process and Steps if the above qualifications are met: 1.
