**JOB PROFILE** Anglo-Eastern Ship Management Pvt Ltd. is a part of the globally established Anglo-Eastern Group with its Head Office at Hong Kong. We are the largest foreign employers of Indian Officers and have been awarded the Best Foreign Employer of Indian Seafarers for the 10th time by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. COURSES- B.Sc. (Physics), B.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Sc (Mathematics) students to create awareness about the Merchant Navy in general and Anglo Eastern in specific. **Recruiting students who have passed or who are pursuing their Graduation- Science stream (with PCM), for the Deck Cadet grade. Upon successfully clearing the online test and subsequent formalities, they will undergo a 1 year pre-sea training period, followed by an 18 month stint on board ship, as Deck Cadets. ** Subsequently, they study in a Nautical College for 4 months and appear for the Second Mates exams under the aegis of the “DG Shipping, Govt. of India” to qualify as a “Competent Officer on board Foreign Going Vessels”. On the successful completion of all semesters, the candidate is awarded a B.Sc (Nautical Science) degree by the Indian Maritime University (IMU), Chennai. Once the aforementioned competency exams are completed, the candidate joins back on board as a Third Officer (earning approx INR 1.5 lac per month) and finally progresses to become the Captain (Master) of a ship in a few years’ time, depending on his / her performance.
