JOB: BUSINESS ANALYST Job Purpose: The Business Analyst will interface with business units and determine business ICT requirements, translate requirements into specifications for new or revised projects. The analyst will manage the development and assist in the implementation of these projects. Main Responsibilities • Follows a defined project management methodology, accountable for the detailed planning of steps and resources needed to meet objectives. • Monitors and prepares reports to ensure work is progressing to meet the deliverables on time and on or under budget. • Gathers and analyze detailed current and desired business requirements for high priority projects; documenting and communicating business and functional requirements specifications. • Manage the procurement process for acquisition of new or revised ICT systems. • Works with internal and external technical team to define business requirements and coordinate system enhancements. • Assists in the development of IT solutions and recommendations for business requirements and business rules. • Executes and manage recurring, scheduled, or ad-hoc system change requests within change control methodologies • Maintains status and reports for all completed, on-going or future initiatives. Completes all documentation and retention processes and procedures. • Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. • Ensures the effective implementation and maintenance of KAA Quality Management System • Any other duties assigned from time to time Qualifications and Experience: 1. University degree in IT or a related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years experience in project management. 3. Project management certification i.e. PMI, PRINCE2 or similar certifications.
