JOHN LANJESI REJECTS BULLETS AND WANDERERS OFFER: The 2015 TNM Super League approaches and teams are on a scout for more talent and skill as they aim on improving their squads ahead of the new season. But unfortunately for Blantyre giants, Big Bullets and Mighty Be-Forward Wanderers both of whom had wanted to secure a deal with Civo United’s defence pillar, John Kintu Lanjesi, are in for a tough ride as the defender refused both offers insisting of staying at Civo. “I have made up my mind to remain at Civo United after further consultations and meetings with my bosses. It was an easy decision to make because it is the wish of every player to play for Bullets or Wanderers but at the end you choose what you like and where you feel you will be comfortable,” said Lanjesi. However Big Bullets general secretary Harold Fote insisted that he has not given up the pursuit to bring Lanjesi to the Peoples team camp. “We still need his services, and we will not give up until Lanjesi sign for us. Let me assure our fans that we will continue discussing with Civo and the player until we win the battle,” said Lanjesi.
