JUGULAR BITTEN. OK, so someone on FB went for my jugular. I feel flabbergasted, insulted, hurt and antagonized. Joy Busfield responded to the post I did on Affording Psychic work. She apparently feels she knows better than me what I need to charge for the service I offer. Read on..... Joy Busfield Nice try ....but insurance covers regular therapy and doctor visits. Who can afford $156.00/hour? I surely can not! I wish I could. If you really want to help people why not lower your prices so that people like me could afford it? Some of those shorter sessions go quite a bit longer than the client paid. I am here to do the work w/o burning out. ONE VS. MANY VISITS makes it much more affordable than regular therapy or a doctor. (PSYCHIC work is not in place of those modalities. It is different.) DEMANDING WORK REQUIRES LIMITED HOURS. I DESERVE TO BE PAID MUCH MORE THAN I CHARGE. Yet no one could afford the price I would charge to sell my soul as the service. FAIR PRICE. I know many, many psychics who charge two to three times over what I charge, yet their skill level is not PUBLICLY proven as I do on my weekly FREE reading radio show. MY INTEGRITY. This morning I told a lovely lady here on FB it was NOT time for her to have a session because she felt fear. SHE WAS SHOCKED THAT I WAS HONEST. MY INTEGRITY. Why then Joy, do you feel you should call me on my INTEGRITY? Do you know better than me what I need to charge to be healthy and continue to do this work? I am completely flabbergasted.
