>>>JUMP FOR JOY Happiness may hop, but joy can jump. Do you know the difference? Hops are short, like a little leap or small skip. But jumps are long and strong enough to spring yourself into the air and hurdle obstacles. Hops are usually one-legged, while jumps require strength of both feet and legs. Hopping and jumping are as different as a bouncing bunny and a bouncing athlete. Just as a jump can take you further and higher than a hop, joy is more powerful than happiness. Both words describe pleasant feelings, but their origins are very different. Happiness depends on what happens. For instance, if you get the latest video game, youre happy. But if you dont win the new game, your mad. Happiness comes from stuff and is temporary. Joy comes from Jesus, our savior, and is eternal. The psalmist said, In Your presents is fullness and joy psalm 16:11...Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presents is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Isaiah described it as everlasting joy (Isaiah 51:11)...Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto zion and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. kjv Thats because happiness lives for the now- lasting about as long as it takes you to eat a candy bar. But joy sees into the future, making present pain into your gain King David understood how joy went beyond cir- cumstances. When one of His sons died at birth, David knew hed see his child again in heaven so he could say, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning You might say joy takes a licking and keeps on ticking. (psalm30:5) For His anger endureth only but a moment: Together Forever In Life is Jesus Christ Thank you in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Why dont you jump for joy? Rejoice knowing that... Jesus Understands My Problems Isnt that better than happiness? Jesus will take you higher, faster, and further than you could ever go alone. you can rejoice in the Lord always (philippians 4:4) Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
