JURIED EXHIBITION The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has opened the application process for our annual New Waves 2014 juried exhibition. I encourage you to apply and spread the word to other Virginia artists. The juror for New Waves 2014 is Charles Moffat. Charles Moffett joined Sotheby’s in 2013 after spending two years working for an art advisory group with offices in Los Angeles and New York. He is presently the Head of the Afternoon Sale in the Contemporary Art department at Sotheby’s maintaining key client relationships throughout North America and Europe, securing consignments for auction, as well as private sales. I am very pleased that I can provide the opportunity for our juror to look at the work of Virginia artists. Please post/send our application information to any Virginia-based artists you believe would be interested in applying. Almost all media is accepted with some weight and size restrictions.
