JUST A SERVANT? HOLD ON PLEASE! Its amazing how we often take people for granted especially those who come into our lives purposely to serve us. My mind has been drawn to a few facts...or truths, if I may say about these great gifts. Consider the servant girl of Naaman in 2Kings5. O how I wish my master would meet the prophet in Israel! One thing led to another& Naaman found himself there. There again servants came in handy to save a dire situation when he got offended by Elishas treatment. They convinced him into following instructions which led to complete restoration. It was not his wife nor his children but servants! Consider Saul and his fathers servant who led him to Prophet Samuel and subsequently his being anointed as king over Israel; David and the disowned Egyptian slave who led him in recovery of his kidnapped wives & others; Rhoda in Acts who boldly got to the door when Peter was released miraculously from prison. Remember this: if youre expecting a great politician, a well known man or woman of God, a great achiever, etc alone to lead you into the place of prominence, your place of glory...then, Im sorry. It doesnt happen that way all the time. Nameless persons are used countless no of times as angels on assignment. Open up, be nice to them...(your househelp, subordinates at work etc). For all u know they are your path to your open doors. BLESS YOU!
