WOW, I have had my faith in the British Police restored today by the actions of one young PC. Whilst walking home freezeing my you know whats off, I had my thumb out begging for a ride home when a Police van sped past me as I was dressed as Evil Kenievel. Two minuets later the same van approached me from the other direction and pull up. The young PC asked me if I had had a good night and was I in need of any assistance as it was reading minus two on his temperature gauge. I ve had a mint night I replied and with a grin he said, well hop in whatever SUPER HERO you are and I will finish your night off with a ride home. This young man had no idea who Evel Kenievel was yet still drove him the last 500 yards home because it was cold outside.I am not saying its the job of the Police to take very drunked stray home, but he showed a compassion beyond his role as a PC which I am very greatful.
