Her death is not considered to be suspicious, police said. Officers believe the 26-year-old woman jumped from the 32nd floor of the apartment block on Robinson Road. The domestic helper lived and worked in a luxury flat on the 32nd floor. Her body was found floating in the pool at about 7am. A 61-year-old woman, surnamed Ling, made the grim discovery in the sixth-floor pool. She called emergency services and paramedics certified the woman dead at the scene. According to Land Registry records, the flat, which is leased out, is owned by a company and one of its directors is a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. After contacting the helper’s employer, police found she was unhappy with her employment arrangements. They have classified the case as person falling from height and a coroner will confirm the cause of death.
