Jack is okay. After finding a fishing lure with three triple hooks that he thought was a toy, He must have played with it. It must have gotten caught on him and then he tried to pull it out and gashed his leg pretty deep. I knew it needed stitches. His mouth was bleeding from pulling at it. The vet stitched him up and he is home resting, still out from the sedation. These thing happen very quickly. I was there, but was talking with someone, when Susan told me Jack was bleeding. He had tried to jump up to reach me. But Jack did not cry or whimper. Boy did I feel guilty for not watching him every second. Luckily it was not rusted, and the vet was still open and he got in right away. Jack one upped me as i put a fishing hook in my leg last week and had to cut it out. No dancing at the parties, or swimming, so jack will be complaining.
