Jackfruit Besides having a weird name that may conjure up images of some creepy old guy down the street named Jack, this food is downright weird-looking. It looks a bit like some kind of dog toy, or perhaps something some people might enjoy employing in the bedroom. Photos, however, don’t do this fruit justice because this one is a true heavyweight! It’s the largest fruit known to grow on trees and can weigh in at a whopping 80 pounds! It’s known for supplying a generous supply of vitamin C as well as manganese which is beneficial for brain function. All of that may be of no consequence if you happen to be under the tree when one of these monsters loses its battle with gravity!
