Jagdish Kinjalkposted toVijailakshmi Vibha 17 minutes ago My view : Giving Awards is more difficult than getting Awards...! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Origination, Sahitya Sadan , has been giving some Literary Awards of National repute for last 17 years, for Hindi Literary books.I have read more than ten thousand books so far.I can say frankly that 500 books were very nice, 700 books were good and 2000 books were ordinary and rest of the books were not worth-reading.Even than People are writing and producing Books in a very large number. They get satisfaction in viewing their books printed and start living with false ego, of being great writer. I have no right to criticize anybody . I can not question the creativity of anybody, but this is truth. I have to undergo in an odd situation, along with my panel, many times to select one best book, out of some very good books. I have lost my sound sleep many times, to choose one best book. It becomes very painful decision to select one, out of so many good books. Now I think, giving Literary Awards is much difficult than to get Award. I dont know, what may be your experience, Friends...? @ jagdish Kinjalk @
