Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller finally acknowledge what I knew all along. There will be no review of the buggery! This is exactly what I was trying to explain for sometime now. This lady a Wolf in sheep’s clothing posses as a friend of the LGBTQI community but does nothing to protect the thousands of LGBTQI people in her country. This symbolic vote by the way would do nothing to change the draconian laws that Jamaica inherits from the British. I might add that the Brits for more than a generation now have move on but the old colonies steep in religiosity and object poverty just cannot seem to let go of anything to do with hatred and bigotry. The hoax that she played on the international community was a good one. I am among the few the never buy the crap she was selling. I know her long enough not to believe the yarn that she was weaving. It is up to the international community and well thinking Jamaicans at home and abroad to appeal to the moral compass of the Jamaican people to stop the acts of terrorism that goes on daily. The numbers of LGBTQI youths upward of 150 who are homeless and hopeless in a country we like to brag about, as the Pearl of the Antilles is disgraceful. The Jamaican government and its people used Christianity as a cover to kill, harass and take away the citizenship from these promising young people. The case of corrective rape of lesbians that goes unpunished is heart breaking. What is so unpleasant to me it is the direct descendants of former slaves who are now giving the middle passage experience and worst to these youths. These same upholders of hatred and bigotry with a Bible in one hand and a machete in the other will meet their love ones and mutilate their bodies to cheering crowds and with police protection –the only crime is who they love. The situation reminds me of the Sunday morning lynching. The million-dollar question here is when will it stop? What can we do to chant a new path forward? When will Jamaica become a civilized nation? These losers who are running the country have been there for fifty years with the same old bankrupt ideas. May I remind you that Jamaica successfully murder an average of 1300-1500 persons per year with a population of 2.7 million. There is 1.1. million of its people living in poverty, some in object poverty.
