Jambo, Friends and family! (Thats hello in Swahili) Tomorrow I leave for Tanzania to begin our climb on Mount Killimanjaro. The mountain is close to 20,000 feet in height and the trek will take 8 days. Over the last year Mohamed and I have undertaken fundraising efforts for this climb with the money going toward medical research to help find a cure for eosinophilic esophagitis. I am so proud to say that we raised $16,491 online and another $15,000 offline. Our biggest contributor has been GE. The company donated almost $9,000. We would love to break $17,000 online if we could.
