James 2:5 Hearken , my beloved brethren, Hath not God chose the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? We are living below the standard to which God has called us. Notice I put myself in that statement also? It is Gods will that we prosper and be in health even as our soul prospereth. We allow problems, trials, tribulations, heart ache , and trouble in general get us down. Yet we have faced nothing such as Job faced. And yet he stayed faithful. Oh dont get me wrong , we come to the understanding that God is as close as a prayer , or as close as the next heart beat. We need to realize that we are chosen , called , elected . Filled with the Holy Ghost to do the works that we were called to do. Those with all the riches of this world will trust in those riches. Some trust in silver , some in gold but we trust in the Lord our God. Blessed be the great God and our Saviour , Jesus Christ. Do we have to have a crutch to lean on ? Do we trust God fully? What happens when we are like the widow and her son , who took the last of her flour and oil and made a piece of bread for the prophet? Could we trust God as Elijah did , to wait for the ravens to bring him food to eat? The time is coming and is nigh at hand when people will not endure sound doctrine. We have those that say those are just stories. Or that Jesus wasnt real , that he was manufactured in our minds. They might even say Jesus didnt ascend into heaven. Or that he wont come again. Well know and understand that the Lord has not delayed his coming. There is a plan and the door is slowly closing. Jesus is soon to return to receive his bride. She has made herself ready, dressed in white, pure through the word and by the blood of the Lamb. God has chosen you , ordained you ,loved you and equipped you with the tools needed to go forth and bring forth fruit and that the fruit shall remain.Jesus is coming Like Comment Share
