James Boswell Cheadle BORN: May 12, 1927 DIED: July 28, 2014 LOCATION: Manila, Arkansas James Boswell Jim Cheadle, age 87, of Manila, the widower of Mrs. Peggy Fleeman Cheadle, died Monday July 28, 2014 at the Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Norman, OK he had been a longtime Manila resident. He was a 1945 graduate of Norman High School in Norman, OK, was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy and later served in the U.S. Army reserve in Oklahoma. He was a 1954 graduate of Oklahoma University earning a Masters Degree in Fine Arts. He was a retired Insurance agent and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Manila. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Boswell Cheadle and by his infant children, Bradley and Loralee Cheadle. He is survived by: 2 Sons: Dr. Matthew Cheadle of Fayettville, AR Stephen Steve Cheadle of Gassville, AR He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2PM Thursday in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service. No visitation is scheduled. Family and friends will meet at 1:30pm at the funeral home in Manila for the procession to the cemetery. Guest register @ howardfuneralservice
