James Shuman has filed to run for Mount Gilead Town Commissioner, joining Chip Carter and Branson Webb in the race to fill two seats that will be up for election in November. Those seats are currently held by Webb and Mayor Pro-Tem Tim McAuley. McAuley has indicated he is undecided about running again. .. Also today, Tim Smith filed for reelection to the Candor Town Board, and Jimmy Cagle filed to run for reelection as a Biscoe Town Commissioner. ..
