Jamie Heistand Well, I just wanted to let all of my friends know that after last night’s events. I have come to the conclusion, that I will be taking a stand. I will not be signing up for obamacare. I am not even going on the site to get a user name. My wife and I have discussed it and we have decided that we are willing to except the consequences for not having it, nor will we pay the fines. As most of you know, we love our home and everything we have bled and sweated for, but we have decided that we love our God, constitution, freedom and liberty more. They say that the government will take it out of your taxes first. Then they will levee your bank accounts. After one year they will revoke your driver’s license. On the second year they will put tax liens against your house. You all know that I have become a very proud father, husband, business owner and American. I am willing to risk it all in making a stand against this illegal and unconstitutional law that I cannot afford. For a family of four, the price through an exchange is around nine hundred dollars a month. That is more than my house payment. The deductible is thirteen thousand a year and the fine for not paying it is about thirteen thousand, if you opt out. How can this possibly be considered or named the Affordable Healthcare Act? The other large factor in me making this decision is the fact that the people who made this law, are exempt from the law and they chose which businesses and religions to exempt. This is wrong and I will not sit down and just take it. If I become an outlaw, homeless and an ex business owner because of my stand, then so be it. I will not tolerate things like this being rammed down my throat every time I open my mouth to speak. If we keep allowing things like this to happen, then what comes next for our children? If there is going to be a fight, then let it be with me and let my girls live in peace. For all of you who would like to do the same thing, but are afraid that the NSA is listening, I say so what, I hope they are, because I am sure that I am not the only one writing a letter like this. I would like it if more people would take a stand with me, but I am willing to go it alone. I will say this, if anyone does decide to do the same as I, and there is any enforcement carried out against that person, I will be standing right beside them, saying if you’re taking them, you’re taking me too. A lot of you are probably thinking that I am crazy right now for coming out and publicly stating this. The reason that I am doing this is because I will never bow down or be silenced by a bully. I am a FREE AMERICAN and its about time I start acting like one! If we dont stand now, we lose everything, this is not about healthcare, its about government control. I have said my piece and would like to hear who will stand with me. Please share this with as many people as possible, there IS strength in numbers and we outnumber them at least a thousand to one.
