Jamwal dissociated himself from Machail Yatra Management Newspoint Bureau Jammu Tawi, July 9 The patron-in-chief of Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha J&K, called Machail Yatra Management in popular parlance, which manages and looks after the affairs of the Machail (Paddar) Yatra and also maintains its fiscal accounts, Thakur Kulbir Singh Jamwal has dissociated himself from its acts and deeds. He has relinquished all his authorities and powers from the management committee of Machail Yatra. He has delegated all his powers and authorities in respect of Yatra management and its accounts. From now on the Sanstha shall be at liberty to take all its decisions and manage the accounts for the betterment and welfare of the yatries. Jamwal has also made it clear that the account of Machail Temple was maintained and managed by Pt Krishan Lal Sharma of Atholi, Paddar and other accounts of Sanstha were always under the charge of the president. He has attributed the reason of his dissociation from the Sanstha to his advancing age and domestic occupation because of which he was unable to give his time and services towards the Yatra management and welfare of yatris. He said that the holy mace of Mata Chandi will start as usual from Chinote Temple Bhaderwah as per past practice and there would be no change in customs and rituals in respect of the annual pilgrimage. Thakur K S Jamwal said that the temple at Chinote Bhad is managed and controlled by the management of Sarv Shakti Shree Chandi Mata Ji Temple, Bhaderwah under his direct control, which has nothing to do with Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha J&K as both of them were separate entities with separate constitution and accounts. He further made it clear that the temple of Mata Chandi at Chinote Bhaderwah has been built up through the donations given by the devotees of Maa Chandi knowingly and exclusively for the said temple, records and accounts of which were maintained separately by the management of Sarv Shakti Shree Chandi Mata Ji Temple, Bhaderwah and has nothing to do with accounts of Sarv Shakti Sewak Sansth J&K (Machail Yatra Management. Meanwhile, MLC Jugal Kishore expressed concern over the decision and said it was not good for the management committee of Machail Yatra. He said Thakur Kulbir Singh, would re- consider his decision of dissociating himself from the management committee after Yatra or discussion with management committee because he was monitoring the Yatra for the past many years. He is the founder of the Yatra, said Kishore and appealed Jamwal to re- consider his decision of dissociating himself from the committee
