#Janamashtami Special.. #SriSriInBangalore.. Guruji arrives at the satsang.. The divine evening celebrating ‘Janamasthmi 2014’ starts with Devotees from Gujarat presenting Guruji the traditional Krishna poshaak and the Mor pankh (Peacock feather) Guruji adorns it lovingly amid mesmerising sounds of the bhajan ‘Hari Sundar Nand Mukanda’...Guruji cutely adjusts his crown,this is followed by Jai kanha wala’ bhajan, and everyone stands up in reverence doing our Madhav’s aarti. Everyone is carrying puja thalis in honor of this pious ocassion. Followed next was a vibrant traditional gujurati dance, Garba. he celebration extends to the entire gathering present in Yagyashala and no one is left untouched by the celebration of the joy of having Krishna amongst us..And then the most divine moment of the day - Guruji joined in and danced gleefully to the enchanting bhajans :) **Guruji’s message** “Everybody is so happy, so joyful. Krishna ka janam hua hai, toh anand hi anand hai..ghar ghar mein! Krishna was absolute joy . so birth of Krishna is celebrated with so much joy. Today there is joy in every heart, every mind and every home. See it has already happened! Everybody is so joyful :) Tomorrow is celebrated in glory of Krishna- so many varieties of food and whole Gujurat is there - they have prepared many, many hundreds and hundreds of items, they bring so much food with them - this shows abundance. Grow enough food and distribute enough food. Nobody goes hungry either in body or in spirit! (The Crowd screams in joy!!!) So there is abundance in the physical plane, of food and well being, and joy and celebration in the mind. That makes life complete. Food for soul is knowledge and food for our body is the different varieties of food - distribute them huh! Very good (smiles) Devi aur Shri krishna ka ek hi din janam hua.. ashtami devi ka din hai, iss din Devi ne bhi janam liya tha! Devi shareer mein samaa gayi - kans ke pass jab aayi toh devi aakash mein udh gayi..Aise hi jaise ahankaar ke pakad mein shakti nahin aa sakti- Sirf lagta hai ke shakti ahankaar ke bas mein hai lekin aisa nahin ho sakta. Toh yeh sandesh hai janamasthmi ka! Toh krishna ka janam hua.. sabne khushi se manaya. aur yeh to kabhi samaapt nain hoga, aise chalta rahega. Aur gujurat toh - hai jai shri krishna ke naare lagaane wala rajya! Krishna ki bhoomi hai..aur gujurat ko lekar aaye aap...main bhi gujurati hoon! (Crowd shrieks and claps in joy!!) Chaliye bahut accha!Theek hai? Launched by Sri Sri today : bhajan album Krishnarparam by Sachin Limaye, book ‘Management mantra’ in Hindi by Gurudev. Guruji started singing the bhajan Madhava Madhusudhana ….and this was the signal that the beautiful evening was coming to a divine close (all devotees immersing in the waters of joy and happiness)
