Jane Harris has nominated me as one of her 10 to list 10 books that have made an impression. If they were in order would need therapy over the inner turmoil of choosing number 1- so no order(ish) 1. To Kill a Mockingbird- Harper Lee - the book I loved most from the school list 2. Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger - Got the whole thing about just wanting to make a difference, stop others from falling over the edge. 3. Unbearable :Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera - Tanks and nookie - first insight in the Russian invasion of Czechoslavakia during the cold war. 4. Famous Five - Enid at her best 5. Perfume - Patrick Susskind - Modern classic and one of the few good film adaptations of it. 6. Adrian Mole - Sue Townsend - SO FUNNY it made me ache, and every teen has a bit in there somewhere that they can smile at - RIP Sue the genius. 7. Catch 22 - Joseph Keller - Wild , funny and makes me think - read more than any other book I have - still dip in and out, 8. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Hunter S Thompson. Trip of a lifetime 9. Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom - beautiful, 10 - It - Stephen King- Classic scary stuff - still hate clowns. So much easier if it were to include the top 100....... i nominate Sophie Rose, Frankie RoseWill Northcote Maxine Winfield Alan Howard Charlie Kilborn David Mckelvie Kate Hansford Emma Parish and Carmen Goodacre Get it onnnn....
