January 16th, 2014 I WILL GO OUT AS BEFORE: Text: Judges 16:20 Memory Verse: Then she called, Samson, the Philistines are upon you! He awoke from his sleep and thought, Ill go out as before and shake myself free. But he did not know that the Lord had left him (Judges 16:20) Devotional Thought: Do you still have Gods presence with you? DEVOTION MESSAGE: Hello, how was the night? Anything that will cast you away from Gods manifest presence will not occur in Jesus name. Amen. When we say the Lord has left, it is not that He does not see you again, it does not mean Hes not around again but that His manifest presence i.e. manifestation of His being with you would not be seen again. I know God might have left and somebody is still seeing the results that he used to see while He was still around him (the gift and calling of God is without repentance) but any battle that requires the manifest presence of God can never be won without Him. It is quite unfortunate that many that used to have the Aura of the presence of God have lost Him. When the Lord is on you, many doors will open even as you approach them (Psalm 24:7-9), you will receive all manners of favour (Luke 2:52), Gods presence is what we call Anointing (Acts 10:38). When you have God with you, you are bound to receive the same result He would get because part of the manifestation of His presence is direction. All these were what Samson used to enjoy but when God left, he remained nothing but another man named Samson for James 2:26 says the body without the spirit is dead and because the spirit of man is Gods candle, Samson did not know he is a walking dead man and he wanted to go out like he used to go out but was treated as he really is without God. How is your own relationship with God? Can you go out as before, with full assurance that you and God are together? Well if not, you can still rejoice because Samson did not have Jesus but you have, he did not have the bible but you have, go on your knees and settle whatever it is that causes the separation, if you need to apologise to anybody please do, if you need to confess your sin so that youll be free please do not hesitate, if you need to stop any habit, please do and I break into pieces every power of addiction over your life by the reason of the anointing that gives me this assignment in Jesus name. Today is the day of Salvation, go on and rejoice the Lord is with you. Amen. PRAYER: FATHER SINCE YOU ARE INTERESTED IN RECONCILING THE WORLD TO YOURSELF(II CORINTHIANS 5:19) LORD BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND AT THE CROSS SAVE ME. Amen
