January 25 Todays quotation: Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born. Dale E. Turner Todays Meditation: Your dreams are your own, and they always will be. Your dreams are that part of yourself that allows you to look to the future with hope, that allows you to see the possibilities and potential of this beautiful world we live in, rather than the limitations and impossibilities. Our dreams are renewable if we nurture them. We must respect our dreams and allow them their own space to grow if theyre going to be of any benefit to us. When we respect them and try to live by them, they can lead us into new pastures and new situations; they can open up new pages in the books of our lives and help us to grow wings with which we can soar through the beautiful, rich blue sky. Well never know our true potential if we dont allow ourselves to dream of destinations that are further along than we currently travel. Well never witness the beauty that may come into our lives if we never permit our dreams to be a guiding force for our mental and physical and emotional energy. Nurturing our dreams does not mean leaving behind all we have currently; it doesnt always mean complete change in our lives. Sometimes it does, though--my wife and I dreamed of buying a motor home and living at the Grand Canyon for a year, and we allowed that dream to drive our actions, and now here we are, living in one of the most beautiful places on the planet and loving every minute of it. Much has changed in our lives, but the dream we shared and went after has caused many, many positive changes in our lives. You have your dreams. Love them, allow them to grow, and do what you can to make them come true. Our dreams are given to us for a reason, and that reason is not to keep us frustrated about their lack of fulfillment.
