January 31st, 2014 l woke up as every other persons God gave breath to see the day. l did my morning devotion after which bathing followed with my corporate wear ... off to office. lmmediately l stepped into the office, the first person I met broke a sad news of a colleague whose a day old baby girl gave up the ghost as l heard the news, a drop of tear fell from my eye brow as l quietly walk away. l dial the affected colleague phone number to sympathize with the bereaved family. Some minutes past 11am, my phone rang. Guess who? A call from my brother (Bro Biodun) hoping to hear good news from him in lieu of the sad news l heard from a colleague at work that early morning (7:50am) Phone Conversation: Me: Hello; Morning Sir Bro Biodun: How are you, work? Me: Im cool Bro Biodun: Baba ti kuu oo Phone hanged... l rushed out of the office straight to the rest room to hmmm Few of my colleague came out to sympathized with me. l left the rest room to seek permission from my boss to leave office in order see my family on how to... 3:15pm we left Lagos for Arandun. We got to Arandun 9:45pm, after greeting some people in front of the house, l was asked to go inside to see the Corpse of my Father. Lo and Behold, l saw him laid on his bed covered with a white cloth. As l stood before his corpse, my mind was filled with questions but l refused to cry believing at that very spot in front of his corpse that Pa Ezekiel Adefila will stand up to talk to me as we normally gist as a father and son but ... Please dad stand up your son is here. its unfortunate he wont stand so we could gist . O Death you have done your worst. But l am very happy that when Christ comes, l shall see my dad again.
