January 8th. What would have been Elvis 80th birthday. As most of you know Ive always been a huge Elvis fan. Saw him in concert in 73. I wanted to think of a good song to post in tribute. In the mid 60s his recording output was mostly limited to lousy movie songs from the lousy movies he was making then. So some of his better songs at that time were crammed at the end of the shorter movie soundtracks as bonus songs. This is one of them, and he liked it enough to include it in his historic Aloha From Hawaii concert which was broadcast worldwide via satellite, the first show ever to do so. I found this video on youtube and it emphasizes his daughter in added photos. I began to cry as soon as I started watching it. At the start of the second verse there is a photo of Lisa Marie that resembles the latest samurai photo of my daughter Emma Buntrock-Müller, whose middle name is also Marie, and BYW my daughters mothers name is Priscilla.
