Castro belongs to musical family and grown-up in church in Columbia, he started drumming and playing music at 11 and used to join his father in leading worship in Church. His voice and music came in to notice when he picked guitar for college functions like Blink 182, Switchfoot, and MxPx. Jason used to listen to lyrics of Ray LaMontagne and Jeff Buckley that motivate him and give him shape. He wrote and sang first song for his girlfriend (now wife) was “Pretty Bad His melodic, heartfelt performance was discovered by American Idol. His first album “ONLY A MOUNTAIN is rejoiced and appreciated broadly by worldwide audience. This album was a breakthrough for him that lifted the veil and represent Castro worldwide. ONLY A MOUNTAIN album is produced by Bronleewe, Ben Glover, and David Garcia and all eleven original track written by Castro. This album realize you that life is beautiful and challenging every challenge gives you a meaning of life, Castro says “It’s a lifestyle philosophy that I carry: What good can we do today?
