Jason van Ness has inspired me to create my own New Orleans drummer list. The top 10 New Orleans Drummer Athletes! 1. Herlin Riley- Big tall strong as an ox, have you seen this man tap dance? He is like Calvin Johnson with rhythm! 2. Troy Davis- Martial artist pound for pound one of the strongest people I have ever met, apparently used to school all the musicians at Southern when he was in college on the bball court. 3. Julian Addison Ambidextrous, strong as an bull, low center of gravity quick twitch muscles I have never seen him play football but I imagine he is Barry Sanders with rhythm! 4. Cedar Howard- One on one basketball champion, ultimate frisbee warrior I will challenge anyone on this list to a game of one on one bball and will wager a pair of drumsticks! 5. Jamal Batiste- Prototypical shooting guard in the Rip Hamilton mode 6.Xavier Smooth Molina- Strong as a bull, talented with a disc and destroyed his face and Max Jay-Dixons face in a frisbee collision 7. Jesse Samuel Rosenfield- Freak athlete, quick twitch muscle exceptional biceps and facial hair. He is like a non racist Riley Cooper. 8. David Shirley- Former football player, fierce competitor, was part of one of the most epic ultimate frisbee collisions. 9. Jonathan Arceneaux- Former football player, amazing back hair and the most powerful rock drummer in the city! 10. Geoff Clapp and Bradley Webb one has size and strength the other quickness and soccer chops I will let facebook decide. Please add whomever I left off!
