Javed Hashmis statement on Sept 1: Making startling disclosures, President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi Monday quoted the PTI chief Imran Khan as saying ‘the badge bearers’ wanted the PTI protesters to move along with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri. Javed Hashmis statement on Sept 2: In another startling revelation, Javed Hashmi said Imran Khan told him that “They” are saying you had not brought the masses in the sit-ins as per commitment. Tahirul Qadri was unable to attack the parliament. You both have failed, therefore, resignations have not been tendered. Both statements quoted from The News International. I see 3 contradictions here: 1) If IK and TUQ had failed to follow the script given to them (by not showing enough strength), why did they want them to march towards PM House? 2) Imran Khan still stands firm on azadi ya maut, despite the militarys refusal to get the PMs resignation, as per JH. Whose script is IK following now? 3) According to Hashmi, they are saying that since TUQ was unable to attack the parliament, resignations cannot be tendered. If they wanted TUQ to attack the parliament, why did army make a public announcement asking people to stay away from the national assembly on the night of crackdown?
