Javier Arizabalo was born in France in 1965, in the small town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. However, the basic knowledge about art, he received in one of the cultural centers of Spain, Bilbao. Here in Bilbao, Javier Arizabalo studied fine arts. Now, the artist lives and works in a small Spanish town of Irun. This realist artist started his career not in painting. He worked with graphics and design and sometimes distracted himself with photography. It was only about six years ago when Javier got carried away by fine arts, and started studying the light and shadow. His paintings are simple and elegant at the same time.
