Jay Burbank and I started a thing called SoldierSongs in Palisade, Colo. a few short years ago. We give lessons and instruments, when we can, to veterans. Today, one of our first veteran/students, Bill Turner, called me to let me know that hes playing guitar every Friday night at a church in New Jersey and has been for about a year now. He called to thank me . It seemed so ironic. He has no idea of what I owe him, and every soldier that ever wore the uniform. For the record -I have two healthy sons that have served or are serving . God bless you all and my gratitude is beyond end.
