Jayson Shaw loses to Lee Vann Corteza to finish 3rd. LVC was up 8-6 when he gave up BIH to Shaw. Shaw runs out to 10-8, has two chances to take the match 11-8 and dogs them both. Shaw has another chance after Corteza comes up dry on the break (one of only 3 dry breaks in the match) at 10-9, but misses the 5. LVC ends up taking the match 12-10 (its win by 2 on the final day of the Open, to a max of 13). Shame to see Shaw self-destruct after a week of playing such fantastic pool, especially since he had the match on his racket 3 times at the end. Final match will be SVB and LVC at 7pm.
