Jeana Nolen managed to take a picture that I actually liked of myself ;). I love this because it captures how I feel about these dogs. They have been through hell, and quite often, they come to us in such poor shape. We nurse them back to health, and give them love that they have never known. Damon (pictured) came from a puppy mill bust, his ears were full of mites, he also had horrible intestinal bacteria, worms and was dehydrated. His little belly was so painful that he cried when we picked him up. He had never been held, kissed, or fed on a regular schedule..until he came to us. Before we got him, he was crammed into a cage with other puppies and lived surrounded by filth. Now he is such a happy, playful and healthy little boy. Damons history is fairly mild compared to other dogs we have helped and continue to help. Please understand that when I ask for support, we truly need it to keep doing what we do.
