Jeep Beach 2014 - 11th Anniversary - Shatters Records Across the Board Jeep Beach 2014 ended on Sunday as a smashing success! The Mid Florida Jeep Club is pleased to announce that we had record numbers of participants, spectators and vendors – demolishing all of our numbers for each of our events. Listed below is a summary: Tuesday - Unofficial Kick-Off – 187 jeeps were counted at 8 pm and more were rolling in and out Wednesday – Cruise-In at Municipal Stadium – 625 jeeps Thursday – Jeep Beach Mixer at Host Hotel – 709 jeeps Friday and Saturday – Jeep Beach in the Speedway – 2743 jeeps - this number includes jeeps for paid participants, vendors, VIPs, club members, and spectators. Total number of people in the speedway was around 8,825! Sunday – Beach Parade – 1334 jeeps The Mid Florida Jeep Club is once again in awe of the support we received this year for our 11th Anniversary. We are excited to announce that we will be donating over $150,000 to our charities. Our charities include: The Boys and Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Counties, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Hope Reins, Volusia County Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, Ronald McDonald House, Pawsabilities and some additional local charities. This is why we work so hard to put on the event – giving back to our community and those that support our trails! We would like to send a big THANK YOU to the following vendors for making additional donations to our charities: • BFGoodrich Tires donated proceeds from their t-shirt sales and will be providing an additional $5 to our charities for each jeep that accessed the obstacle course sporting BFGoodrich Tires, • GenRight Off Road, Jeepers Den, Raceline Wheels and Spiderweb Shades raised over $5000 at their Tiki Party. Without the help of our vendor partners, this great event would not be possible. We had over 115 vendors this year – a HUGE increase from last year. A special thanks to our two title sponsors – Rugged Ridge/Omix-Ada and BFGoodrich Tires. They provided us exceptional support this year and for that we THANK THEM! Please keep all of our vendors in mind whenever you need that next Jeep part. Their logos are listed on jeepbeach. Thanks again, EVERYONE, for your support! In the next few weeks, all registered participants and vendors will receive an e-mail with a link to our survey. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and provide us your feedback – it’s the only way we can continue to make the event better and better.
