Jeff Bezos and Amazon get 1 billion dollars worth of free advertising using 60 minutes as the medium to do it, and on the day before cyber monday. Is it any coincidence Bezos mentions this drone delivery idea (which has no chance of every working) the day before Cyber Monday so that on Cyber Monday, every single news outlet is talking about the hair brained idea as well as the rest of America? No small businessman could ever get that much word of mouth water cooler conversation like Amazon did for mentioning that crazy concept on national Sunday night television. Is this fair competition? I dont think so. Im disgusted at CBS for reporting it and Amazon for concocting this stupid April fools joke of an idea. If such a stupid idea was to ever come forth, I can imagine the day kids will take out their bb-guns or rifles for that matter, and start skeet shooting at the drones to win the prize sitting underneath it. And the news reports of Amazon drones crashing on cars, killing people as they fall out of the sky hitting them on the heads. Just plain stupid.
