Jeremiah 15:19-21 19 Therefore thus says the Lord: “If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them. 20 And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; And they will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you; For I am with you to save you And deliver you,” says the Lord. 21 “I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, And I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.” This is powerful! If we return to the Lord... IF,IF we utter what is precious and not what is vile! How many times do we want the Lord to fight on our behalf, how many times are we engaged in the battle and yet we are speaking vile things or hurtful things or gossiping, or even words of doubt or unbelief? How many times are our mouths fountains that are springing forth sweet water and bitter? Oh Lord put a watch before my mouth and keep the door. I want your protection, I want you to deliver me. I want you to make me a defenced and fortified city with brazened walls!
