Jeremiah 32:27 NKJV “Behold, I am the Lord , the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Have you ever had someone you barely know, ask you for something over and above the boundaries of your friendship? Say you had a new neighbor move in next door and after knowing them for a few hours, he asks to borrow your brand new, $30,000 car. Now, to me, he is simply asking too much. How about starting with a cup of sugar or my weed eater? I think we treat God that way sometimes. We ask of Him without spending the time to get to KNOW Him. Sometimes we ask.of Him without realizing the possible consequences of what we are asking. God is a very personal being, as a matter of fact, God IS love, and He desires fellowship WITH us. The answer to the question God asks here in this Scripture is NO! There ISNT ANYTHING too hard for Him! Put that relationship in context first though! What are WE asking of God, and how WELL do we KNOW God? Are we asking for ridiculous favor from someone we BARELY know? God WANTS to give us the desires of our hearts, but do we even realize WHAT we are asking? Are we asking to borrow His new car and we BARELY know Him? God gave us the Bible and prayer to get to know Him personally. The Bible reveals His love, His character and compassion for us, His holiness and righteousness, and what makes Him angry! Through prayer, God will reveal Himself even more! Prayer is a one on one conversation with God, and its how we connect PERSONALLY with God. God loves us SO MUCH, He gave up His ONLY Son as a sacrifice FOR us, the ball is now in OUR court. Its our move. The next step is up to us. Dont be the creepy neighbor asking to borrow a new car from someone he barely knows. Nobody likes THAT guy, not even God. Get to know Him. Start today.
