Jerry Garcia used to buy comic books from me back during my Bay Area comic book store days of daZe 1970s thru 1994. Robin Williams was a semi-regular customer friend as well. Bruce Lee brought in Brandon in late 72 thru early 73 about the time my late friend Rick Griffin first came thru us doing our first deal and I ended up with the cover art to Tales From the Tube. I miss him more so, and I truly miss not still have that Tube cover which graced my walls at home for a very long time. Kirk Hammett Metallica grew up in my Berkeley store since he was 12 years old. Movie director Oliver Stone bought comics from me. Danny Glover around the corner and lived up the street bringing in his grand kids.... The list in my head is endless........ - Steve Borock this song pretty much sums up my feelings these days of daZe.
