Jessicas birthday at the cemetery. Renee Popp Buelow, her husband Cappy and I met at the cemetery. We wore our Silly Socks, of course. Renee and Cappy shared two pair of silly socks so they each wore one of each pair. Cappy is the one in the blue jeans. My silly socks say Follow Your Heart and You Make Me *smile* which instead of the word smile it has a big blue smile. Makes sense because Jessicas lips were always blue. ;) Renee gathered some flowers from her garden and put them in the little white vase. Its hard to find flowers when its been 108 degrees! Flowers dont like that kind of heat. I took the pink and white unicorn. Dont worry, I attached it with wire to the vase so it doesnt blow away. I also took some butterfly windchimes and Cappy helped me put them on the branch of the tree that overhangs Jessicas headstone. We had a beautiful sunset too. Austin wasnt up to going to the cemetery but after I was done there I went home and picked him up. We went to Village Inn to eat to celebrate Jessicas birthday. Karl was out of town so that made the day harder but I got to talk to him on the phone. Having Austin, Renee and Cappy by my side and all of you sending photos of Silly Socks and your loving, caring messages made the day much more bearable. Happy Birthday in heaven, Angel Jess. I love you and miss you so very much! ~ps: I decided to set up an FB profile to honor Jessica so if you see someone tagged in her photos, its really me tagging that profile. Too bad she cant have FB in heaven! Wouldnt that be the most amazing thing ever??!! ;)
