Jesus Brought Healing Also Jesus came to earth to die for our sins, so we may be made the righteousness of God through Christ. When God sees the blood of Christ on our door posts (our minds), the death angel passes over us. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 (NIV). Jesus also brought healing for our bodies and, minds. When Jesus (Yeshua) said: It is finished, at the cross, He had provided for our every need: salvation, healing, and prosperity. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed. Acts 5:16 (NIV). The entire crowd was trying to touch Him, because power was coming out from Him and healing all of them. Luke 6:19 (ISV). Jesus did not have to allow Himself to be cruelly beaten by unmerciful Roman soldiers with cats of 9 tails. These were Roman whips with 9 leather switches that had nails and metal attached to them. Jesus bore 39 whips of 9 lashes across His back and body, which should have killed Him; but, He still had the Cross to endure. That ungodly brutal beating was borne by Jesus for our healing, prosperity, and peace that we might be remade whole. We need to accept and believe for the agony and purpose that Christ suffered for us that we may also be healed and made whole. But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. Isaiah 53:5 (NLT). ... who our sins Himself did bear in His body, upon the tree, that to the sins having died, to the righteousness we may live; by Whose stripes you were healed, 1 Peter 2:24 (YLT) (Youngs Literal Translation). O Lord, if You heal me, I will be truly healed; if You save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for You alone! Jeremiah 17:14 (NLT). And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come near unto you. Luke 10:9 (KJ2).
