Jesus Wants to Feed You! John 6: 5. Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, “Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” *Jesus cares for the physical not just the spiritual. He cares about your health. He cares about your marriage. He cares about your job. There are some that believe that God cares only about the spiritual, the invisible, the vertical, but God cares about both your joy and your job, your soul and your stomach, your holiness and health, your faith and your family. Christianity is not an either or proposition, it is both and. He is both savior and provider. He is the Messiah and Jehovah Jireh. Simply stated, JESUS WANTS TO FEED YOU. He hates to see you hungry, both spiritually and physically. He does not want you lacking, either spiritually or physically. Recently, in one of my travels, I took one too many flights, ate too little food, actually, did not have a chance to eat all day. I arrived at the venue and right before I approached the stage, while I was being miced up ( microphone placement procedure, very technical :)my stomach began to preach before I got to. I think the sound man noticed. Has anyone been so hungry that your stomach speaks to you? Heres a word. From this moment on, you will be known not for the grumble in your stomach but for the praise upon your lips. Accordingly, I am believing God that your season of lack is over. Your season of hunger is over. Your season of not enough is over. God is about to provide for your every need! And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.
