Jesus confronts Saul on the road to Damascus...and questions him....he says Saul! Saul! why do you persecute me?...a great light flashed around Saul and he fell to the ground..saying...Who are you Lord? I Am Jesus whom you are persecuting! now get up and go into the city and you will be told what to do...Saul had to come to grips with the fact that he had religion but not right relationship with the King...we all at one point had once been like Saul..and unless the Lord shined the light on us we would of never known it was Christ we were actually crucifying or persecuting...Saul had to get up and move to a new place a new direction new alinement to receive more...but Saul just obeyed at first by faith what the Lord spoke because even as he got up from his Jesus visitation.. he still couldnt see and all was so clouded he had to be led by the hand into the new place,,Damascus...when Saul obeyed the Lord a prophet Ananias was already equipped to speak and minister to Saul to restore his vision..his sight...his spiritual blindness.. sometimes in your relegious zeal we have to humble ourselves from our high position in our relegion and be willing to be led. leaving your position of relegious ideals man made forms and traditions or even yesterdays stratigys,,,and be open to recieve new. whenever the Lord blows change and does something new out of ordinary it shakes and rattles a relegious mindset the relegious systems of man need to feel in control..so it scares them sometimes..lets face it we all have been fearfull of unknown newness and change out of the comfort zones we get into..and even Ananias is challenged here..he knew Sauls former reputation and now God says..lay hands on him this is a chosen vessel to preach reach the gentiles?? that took faith too for Ananias..he had to trust Gods words..that this one has been transformed made new..he has to speak to Sauls destiny and calling..vision is restored when we receive revelation of who we are and our purpose and place in the Kingdom of God. the scales are comming off the eyes of some in the body of Christ who were once bound by religious spirits and sought to imprison others into their religious system thinking its your job to bring people into your system when in fact the Lord himself is calling his people out of that and into Kingdom living..its not church as usual anymore..the Lord will preserve what was good in that but first you lay it all down like a child again...humble and become a student of the Holy Spirit..who will not be constrained nor confined by man...many churches gave the Spirit some control but not full control so as where there was lack of fullness..and liberty of His Spirit and Glory..some think a touch is great..thats all they know..when God has so much more but we must let him build his house by his Spirit his way..and as far as headship goes theres only one head..being Jesus Christ..not the laity of mans order..not your pastor..not any apostle..there is Godly leadership in the Kingdom..who are called to equipp provide protect the babes in Christ even feeding until they mature in Christ to hear from God for themselves..the fully equipped 5 fold ministry is for the equipping of the body of Christ...one cant be an equipper if they are not fully equipped themselves..fully equipped means your not able to just operate in one position giftings..but trained in all. some have been so stuck in their one position that they have not been willing to operate or change their role in the body..this has hindered them from fullness..God has raised up a new band of leadership in this hour..religious folk will have to forsake the old wine..allow the new..and let me say all leadership is...are those that go before us..or have moved ahead into the newness of the Lord,,paved a way,,and many follow what the Holy Spirit is doing and has done. some have been waiting for the Holy Ghost to get into alingment with them! Waiting for the Holy Ghost to come to their level..waiting for the Holy Ghost to co sign what their doing..let me say..that might be a very long wait..hahaha...some assume that just because they are of a certain gender...like male! that any woman of God sent your way must most assuredly hafta bow and submitt to you...surely they were sent to only hear you! support you! be taught by you!...well this kind of mindset will leave you...with you! All by yourself or with others that co sign your ego. if you feel God is resisting you..its not because he doesnt love you..he resists pride..even hates it...having said all this i want to close with this..when we are in alinment or agreement right position with the Lord..there is peace and Glory one cant deny..so all of us must examine ourselves and seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his standard of righteousness,,that is peace and joy in the Holy Ghost...for me i find that if im resisting the Holy Ghost..im restless irritable frustrated and discontent..when this happens theres an area im not surrendering to the Lord control of..but when i sit in his Glory and have peace beyond understanding..pretty sure im in his perfect will regardless of what man says. So i encourage us all to be humble and open for the winds of change that blow..and when he sends waves of Glory get ur surf board out jump on and ride em! Amen! Parayer..Lord Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit we ask you to help us humble ourselves..open our eyes to see..places maybe we have been spiritually blinded..place the eye salve on and let there be light..help us be willing and open for change and new life you have for us..renew our minds let us forsake old ideals and recieve the Mind of Christ that you give us and gives us life. Restore vision to your body..burn your vision into us..your plans..your ways..position us where we need to be,,place us where you want us..line us up with your perfect will bring the body into perfect alingnment with you Jesus our Head. Amen!
