Jesus earthly ministry was to Israel. Jesus death & resurrection was for ALL mankind. However, NOT even Israel, nor the 12 Apostles new that through Jesus death & resurrection would bring salvation to the gentiles.......UNTIL Jesus, AFTER His ascension to heaven, SAVED & called Saul, who became Paul, the ONLY apostle called to preach the gospel of Grace to the gentiles (us) Two different gospels. (things that differ are NOT the same). The earthly ministry of Jesus to Israel. The heavenly ministry (gospel of Grace) given to Paul by the Risen Jesus Christ. ( 2 Timothy 2:8 ~ Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel). Pauls 13 apistles, (Romans through Philemon) is the gospel that we (gentiles) will be saved by & judged on before Jesus Christ. ( Romans 2:16 ~ In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel). Dont believe what I say......Read Gods Word for yourselves. ( 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth). Do you feel comfortable with preaching Israels gospel to the gentiles. (us). When Jesus gave us a different gospel through Paul? Are you believing in vain? This is the gospel that Jesus gave to Paul directly, to give to us. The gospel that saves.
