Jesus said to him, “You shall LOVE the Lord your God with ALL YOUR HEART, and with ALL YOUR SOUL, and with ALL YOUR MIND. This is the FIRST and GREAT COMMANDMENT. And the SECOND is like it, “You shall LOVE your NEIGHBOR as YOURSELF. On these TWO COMMANDMENTS hang ALL the LAW and the PROPHETS (Matthew 22:37-40)… We’re always hearing people saying that, “Nobody’s PERFECT,” that “Nobody can be PERFECT.” But Jesus COMMANDED us to “Be PEREFCT as your Father in Heaven is PERFECT” (Matthew 5:48). He never meant PERFECT to mean WITHOUT MAKING MISTAKES, but rather, to be PERFECT in LOVE. For God’s LOVE is PERFECT, which therefore makes Him PERFECT. And if we’re COMMANDED to be PERFECT as God Himself is, then it MUST BE something that WE can BE! The REASON why we BELIEVE that NOBODY can be PERFECT here on earth in THIS LIFE is because we don’t LOVE as God LOVES and has GIVEN us that CAPACITY to LOVE through the Holy Spirit and our NEW, BORN-AGAIN NATURE in Christ. We have to get the WORLD CONCEPT of what PERFECT is out of our MINDS and SYSTEM, because PERFECT in the Kingdom of God means something TOTALLY DIFFERENT! You DESIRE to be PERFECT? Start TRULY LOVING God and the PEOPLE of the WORLD as God DOES, and your PERFECTION will be GUARANTEED!!!
