Jesus said, we should go into the world and proclaim the Gospel, evangelism should be in the DNA of every Christian, but were lackadaisical and lazy when it comes to soul winning, people assume is the job of someone else, it hasnt sank in the spirit of many Christians, that indeed this is what Jesus expect of us, not to wear beautiful clothes, or shoes, heels, bags, suites, in the front role of churches but to win souls. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ Does the American or British ambassador, neglects his duties by the assumption is someone else job? They promote their nations interest, whether good or bad. What type of ambassador are you, one who thinks soul winning or evangelism is the job for pastors, bishops, evangelists, everyone else, except me? Luke 15:7 says, I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Can you imagine how it will be, that your name is mentioned in heaven everyday, when a soul is won? Surely if heaven is rejoicing for a repented soul, you who was use to lead the person to Christ, will be mentioned too. Hallelujah Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 9:37-38, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Many of us claim to be too busy to go out there, now aint there human beings at your work place, school, business, coming to your shop, on your way to work, the market you go to etc? Many quote Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the Gospel. But they cant speak the Gospel to people, is ironic, we all heard the Gospel through someone, but youve decided no one will hear the Gospel from you, repent. In 2015, let Matthew 28:19 be fulfilled in your Christian life, let the Great Commission become your lifestyle, for heaven is waiting to rejoice, in Jesus mighty name.
