Jesus the Rabboni, Master Teacher, started His Ministry of the Word with the sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-6-7, beginning with the Beatitudes and concluding in 7:24-27 with the parable :Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to the wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house: and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall. Just about everyone I know has been through a storm of life, or is in one. Hebrews 12:25-28 speaks clearly of this, quoting Haggai 2:6 in the Prophets: Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. As the storms of life come and the world is shaken the Rock of Jesus Christ remains the only safe secure place. I came to Salvation in the midst of a storm almost 40 years ago and found these words to be absolutely true and faithful. Though my life and my family have seen severe storms and shaking He has NEVER failed us or forsaken us. Whatever the situation in your life give it to Him, surrender to His Kingdom and Will, and by His Word and Spirit you will make it through ! Blessings.
