Jilli Holiday and I went on a hike this am:: we wander off to a quiet trail.. stop take a chill break. Take in the scene. loop around.. headed down steep terrain, cautiously traversing down gravel. We hear a bird chirping loud. Jilli says... A Moma bird is protecting her nest. All I heard was a rattle!! But, I am almost deaf... And was questioning What i was hearing.... Jilli continues down path and the rattle becomes louder. Im frantically scanning the ground.. Spot the rattlesnake coiled and began warning Jilli. Stop- RUN! She runs by Woody and me.. What am I?? ::stiff and frozen:: want to be near me in event of terror?
