Jim Harris Rallies for World Finals Pool Honors! CHARLOTTE, NC (November 9, 2013) – Omaha’s Jim Harris capitalized on a stellar World Finals feature event on Saturday night to take the $300 winner’s share in the Inaugural World Finals Pool over a field of competitors. Entering the feature more than 50 points off Friday night top point man Chad Markel’s lead pace, Harris rallied with Jason Sides’ runner-up finish the biggest determining factor as Markel had early DNF Shane Stewart in the same group. Harris was one of just six to select Sides. Harris took the top spot by nearly 46 points over Jonathan Bateman, who rallied into the $150 runner-up spot with seven feature starters both nights while Markel settled for the $100 third place finish. Also in the money were Johnny Gibson ($75), Rico Abreu ($60) and Spike ($40). Markel and Harris also earned $40 bonuses for accumulating the most points on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
